Laphroaig 18 year  was introduced in 2009 as a replacement for the old 15 Year Old (Prince Charles' sorely missed favourite whisky, lest we forget). But, by the end of 2016, it had also gone the way of the dodo. This is a stronger, altogether gutsier affair at 48%.- International Review of Spirits Award - Gold Medal- Jim Murrays Whisky Bible 2020 - 94 points- Discontinued in 2016 and very collectible
